It’s Saturday! As promised, here is a series of very cool commencement brunch pictures for you. LIKE / comment if enjoy those!
Welcome to the last semester of PMBA!
This will be the 8 weeks of news and “behind the scene” type of pictures – promise 🙂
On Wed, you’ll get the images from our commencement ceremony at the GA Dome as well as the breakfast at the WCC in May.
Also, I will try to find the full HD video for you to watch.
Here’s just a quick sneak pick for you 🙂 Stay tuned for more!
Today we’re enjoying family lunch organized for PMBA students on Buckhead Campus!
Every student is welcome to bring his or her entire family to meet the families of other students!
I shared with you many of extraordinary events that are hosted exclusively for us – the PMBA students. This one is really REALLY unique though!
We were invited to hear from Annie Mitchell, the director of the K-20 Marketing Team for Apple. She shared Apple’s history in education, vision and mission for a learning environment, discussed how faculty and students are using mobile devices and digital content to create, collaborate, innovate and communicate across all disciplines.
Annie presented to the Buckhead students on Thursday, February 28th. This was a very VERY special guest!
This is sooooo exciting! I want to tell you about my internship that is contributing to the growth of a global company. Starting my internship, I introduced Carol – the CEO of the company I intern at – to my friend Felicia – the sustainability GURU of Atlanta, and as the result on the 21st of February of 2013 at 191 P’tree during Building a Green Economy event Carol launched RAISE ENERGY project!
On the first picture below you see Tom – the provider of the LED technology, Carol and Ashley from RAISE, me and my friend Felicia. It was a great event, and I feel excited about my contribution to Raise Global Services’ growth!
On the 29th of January, during my internship, Carol and I attended the Atlanta Business RadioX networking event. We met many wonderful people from Atlanta’s business-community. Carol has been invited to be interviewed on multiple radio-shows about the great cause she promotes with her business. It is going to be a beginning of something big for Raise – I know it! Exciting!!!!!!!! Below are two pictures: me and Carol and me with Lee Kantor, the creator and founder of Atlanta Business RadioX. Enjoy!
We had fun tonight!!!! As always, meeting like-minded professional people, who are also students of premium programs at J. Mack Robinson College of Business, delicious food, nice atmosphere and an outstanding opportunity to network.
I met two Russian ladies there! That was very unusual 🙂 I am Russian, by the way 🙂 Anyway, the pictures, as promised. Enjoy, everyone!
Remember, during the last Open House LaTonya mentioned that we like to party here at GA State’s PMBA? I saw you, guys, laughed, but she actually wasn’t kidding. We do really like to party, and the coolest thing is that it is all complimentary as long as you ARE a PMBA student, everything is organized for you, so all you need to do is to just show up and have a good time 🙂 That is PMBA Mixer I am talking about – see the pictures from last year below. It was fun, people were meeting in the relaxing settings, food was delicious, and I actually made a few great friends.
So, PMBA mixer will take place in Atlanta in October. I look forward to attending the event and meeting new people. It’s always exciting!
The other awesome event, where I plan to network with like-minded people, is the Annual Distinguished Alumni Award in October. As a recipient of Alumni Association scholarship I was invited to join the celebration! This will be my first time, so I am excited to see what it is going to be like 🙂 I’ll make sure there are some cute pictures to share with you, guys 🙂
Also, in October seven of the PMBA students get to attend Corporate IP (Intellectual Property) Institute free of charge! I am lucky to be one of them. That will take place closer to the end of October, and I will sure update you on all the fun stuff and will also summarize what I’ve learned for you. See the details in the brochure below.
As promised, I will share with you today about the Open House that took place August 23rd, 2012. I must confess, I was a little late, and, guys, there were so many attendees, I had to wait in line in the parking garage to park my car!
As I walked in, I saw a great crowd – about 600 attendees. As mentioned before, I was there to support my PMBA program, answer questions the potential students may have, share my own experience of enrolling and actually living the life of a PMBA student, explain the logistics, the challenges and the many excitements of being here.
If you missed this open house event, there will be the next one soon, and I strongly encourage you to attend it and take advantage of the great opportunity to meet face-to-face with the faculty-members, current students, alums, the University Dean and many others who work to make it happen. GA State rents a great facility at Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead, provides delicious food, nice atmosphere, and an interesting presentation, at the end of which you get to ask any questions you want.
To look behind the scene, check out the pictures. See you at the next open house!
